Our application process

At Royal Mail, we're here to help you enjoy every step of the journey.

Step 1

First, you'll need to complete an online application and some situational judgement tests that'll help us to find out if you're suitable for the role you're applying for.

Step 2

If we think you'd be a great fit, you'll be invited to complete a video interview or join us at one of our assessment centres.

This stage of the process will help us get to know your skills and personal qualities a whole lot better. But, it's also your chance to get to know us, so remember to have your questions at the ready.

Step 3

Now for the really exciting bit. Depending on the role you're applying for, you'll be invited to participate in a final competency-based interview or a one-day work trial.

It's your chance to ask any final questions you have about the business and to impress us. If you do, we'll offer you a role.

Step 4

Once you have accepted, it'll take a couple of weeks for us to sort out the paperwork. It'll be a pretty rigorous process but don't worry, we'll be on hand to answer any questions you might have.

Before you know it, you'll be joining our global team as a Royal Mail employee.
